Welcome to the Southern California Dance Collective web site. SCDC is a community of people from all over Southern California who love to dance.
The SCDC website is a resource in many ways: as a resource for our dance community to find classes and events; as a vehicle for teachers and organizers to promote their classes and events; as an online hub to help create community in our world of conscious dance people; as an avenue for members to contribute to the community; as channel to distribute the latest information on SCDC events.
We invite all people of good will, regardless of race, sex, gender, religion, age or ability. If you share our vision and would like to participate in our events, we invite you to join us.
Our aim is to create low cost, not-for-profit, smoke and alcohol-free, freestyle barefoot dances in the Southern California Area. We are producing special dance events that everyone can afford and anyone can attend, including dance weekends and an annual weeklong dance camp in nature.
